// a community for people who build things and break them too

We're All
Idiot.dot

idiotdot is a place to build without ego. No dumb questions — just ones nobody's answered yet. We write bugs together, fix them together, and occasionally ship something that actually works.

// 01 — about

Not a community for people who already know it all. For people learning to.

idiotdot started as a small study group in 2021 — now home to a bunch of builders who are mostly winging it.

The name idiotdot isn't putting anyone down — it's a reminder that everyone starts at zero. A 404, a typo in production, a missing semicolon: here, that's a story, not a failure.

We talk honest code review, build open-source projects together, and run the occasional study jam to pick up something new — from frontend to infra.

Whether you just learned what a variable is or you're maintaining a system in production, there's a seat here for you.
